City Maps 2Go Pro – Offline Map and Travel Guide
Universal App

Having your iPhone or iPad with you wherever you go affords you a lot of opportunities, such as being able to navigate your way around. As long as you have a data connection, that is. For those times when you don’t have a connection, City Maps 2Go might be a good choice to have.

City Maps 2Go is an offline map application that allows you to access maps of cities from around the world, no matter how good your connection is or isn’t. No roaming charges will be applied, and you can download the map to various cities before heading out on vacation or business. Be able to search and find the streets offline, spot your location via passive GPS, and tons of points of interest. There’s a lot of use in this app, so go grab it.

iOS7 tips and tricks that you should know

after  iOS7  release , i had many customers telling me how they can’t find their apps, the new interface is no longer friendly to use , draining battery …..etc .

well, below are some tips and tricks that i know off to help you out and answer some of your questions regarding iOS7.

share this link on your facebook page you find this useful to you.

  1. Burst mode is a new feature that lets you capture several photos simultaneously. In iOS 6, quickly capturing multiple photos was achieved by tapping the capture button several times, but now you need only to tap and hold the capture button until you’ve captured your desired number of photos.
  2. While not something you may use everyday, the Compass app can be incredibly handy in certain situations. Now, the app offers another handy feature, as it can be used as a level.

    To access the level feature:

    1. Open the Compass app
    2. Swipe left
  3. Open Calendar app and tap the magnifying glass icon. Now you can scroll down and get the details of the appointments you have next week and beyond. You may also be wondering about the Week view – this is accessed by turning the iPhone on its side and viewing in Portrait mode, the same way as it worked in iOS
  4. Time stamp in Messages is very important to me when replying to cusomters.  In iOS 6 you would have seen some time stamps (although not for every message), but these time stamps disappeared completely in iOS 7. Actually, you can find out when a message was sent. To do so, just drag your finger from right to left and you will see the time that each message was sent.
  5. Rather than tapping the back button in Messages, you can now swipe from left to right to return to all Messages.
  6. Facetime audio call . now you can make “phone” calls with facetime.
  7. You can now bold you text in iOS7.

    To bold text:

    1. Open the Settings app
    2. Tap General
    3. Tap Accessibility
    4. Turn on Bold Text
    5. Restart your phone (you’ll be prompted to do so)
  8. You can quickly and easily access Control Centre as it’s officially know, by sliding up from the bottom of your iPad or iPhone’s display. From here, whether your iPhone is locked or unlocked, you can turn on/off Airplane more, WiFi, Bluetooth or Do Not Disturb. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE turnoff your wifi and bluetooth when not in use to save battery life.
  9. This is real. did you  know your phone is tracking your movements, you can turn off the Frequent Locations feature. Turning this feature off will reduce the accuracy in the Notification Center’s Today view, but will improve your privacy and battery life.

    To turn off Frequent Locations:

    1. Open the Settings app
    2. Tap Privacy
    3. Tap Location Services
    4. Tap System Settings
    5. Tap Frequent Locations
    6. Turn off Frequent Locations
  10. To limit how ad companies track your browsing habits, turn off the Limit Ad Tracking option. this tip will give  you extra battery life

    To do so:

    1. Open the Settings app
    2. Tap Privacy
    3. Tap Advertising
    4. Turn on Limit Ad Tracking
  11. Leaving location services turned on can drain your battery significantly faster than if you turn it off. If you’re not using Maps or an app that requires your location, you can turn location services off.

To do this, you’ll need to go to Settings > Privacy and tap Location Services. From here, you can toggle the feature on or off.

  12. iOS 7, you can have your iPhone or iPad refresh your apps in the background ready for when you want to use them. However, this could cause an increase in data usage and a battery life decrease, so you might want to turn it off.

To turn off background app refresh, go to Settings > General and then slide Background App Refresh to off.

  13. To search your iPad or iPhone, slide down from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad other than the very top (which will show Notifications Centre) or bottom (Control Centre) of the device.
  14. i LOVE this improvement . You can swipe between pages in Safari in iOS 7. If you want to go page to the page you were on previously, just swipe your finger left. To go forwards, swipe right.
  15. When using iOS  you scroll down the page by dragging a finger down the screen. But, did you know that you can jump back to the top of a page/app without all that scrolling?

To jump to the top of a page , simply tap the clock at the top center of the iPhone or iPod touch’s screen. This immediately jumps you back to the top of the page/app.
